I joined Farrell's in January of 2013. My wife had been encouraging me to join her in the program for several months. As someone who has always lifted weights and been active on my own, I didn't think Farrell's had anything to offer me. Because we were getting married later that year, I finally agreed to join. I was immediately impressed with the program and environment. Unlike most gyms, the environment was friendly, supportive and engaging. The kickboxing workouts were comprised of many of the things you don't typically do at the gym like burpees, mountain climbers and floor jacks. Resistance bands challenged my muscles in a different way than free weights had done before. I didn't have much weight to lose but I did drop a pant size on my way to tightening, toning and getting into great shape during my ten weeks. The way the Farrell's program makes you feel is contagious, which is why I'm still at it 3 years later.
