In August of 2015 I was diagnosed with cancer. I had surgery in August and finished chemo treatments in October. After going through this fight I was mentally and emotionally drained, and I needed to regain strength and energy. I had heard that Farrell's could help me with all aspects of my life, so I joined in January 2016 and absolutely fell in love with the program and the Farrell's Family.
I began instructing in March 2017. I had been approached several times about possibly instructing and I felt the time was finally right for me to do it. I see it as an opportunity to help others, just as the other Farrell's instructors had helped me. The entire Farrell's Family is incredibly supportive. It's all about the team and the 8:30 Whack-a-do's.
My wife Lora and I have three children - Ethan, Ellie, and Emily and we reside in Cedar Falls. Outside of Farrell's, I am the Director of Operations for United Equipment Accessories in Waverly, IA.
